Along The Meon

[DKB url=”http://www.alongthemeon.co.uk” text=”Visit Site”] The Meon valley in Hampshire contains several villages, each with their own vibrant community. Villagers needed a way to find out what’s going on locally – both in their own and the surrounding villages.

The idea of using a website to provide local information allowed us (yes we feel very much a part of this effort) to establish a “for sale” section, and a regular weekend “alert” to remind subscribers of imminent events.

Visitors have the option of registering to enable them to upload their own ads, notices and events. We’re still developing new ideas with the site administrators, and this site should grow in strength as its membership increases.
